The SIFE National Competition gives SIFE Teams in New Zealand the opportunity to showcase their projects to a large panel of judges. The judges are primarily business people from many industries. The winner of the SIFE New Zealand National Competition goes on to represent their university and their country at the SIFE World Cup, where the top 40 countries from around the world present their SIFE projects - all aiming to win the ultimate prize the SIFE World Cup Championship.
The following are awards SIFE AUT have been awarded in their short history:
2008 Winner National SIFE competition NZ
