SIFE AUT heads to SIFE World Cup 2008 at Singapore in October. Armed with 10 community and business projects, SIFE AUT was victoriously in claiming the SIFE New Zealand trophy, earning them a trip to Singapore to experience the ultimate level of SIFE competitions – Challenging 45 other countries for the SIFE World Cup.

Roadshow: Making a Difference

On the 6th of May, a group of 9 SIFERS ran the Roadshow workshop at Pinehurst School in Albany. The Road Show project SIFERS were; Zach, Stan and Adeel. The workshop results were phenomenal. The students were eventually brainstorming concepts such as the 4 P’s of marketing, selecting the target market and how they would market selected products.

Earlier this year SIFE AUT earned the right and honour to represent New Zealand in the annual SIFE World Cup, hosted in New York. At this competition SIFE AUT competed against 47 other SIFE teams from across the globe, for the World Cup title. During the first round we competed against Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Korea, Swaziland and Sweden. Our SIFE team provided a superb performance that saw us proceed to the Semi-final round. SIFE AUT heads to New York

After almost three months of practicing and dress rehearsals the team from AUT University, representing New Zealand, are on their way to the 2007 SIFE World Cup.This year's competition will be held between October 10-12 in New York, USA where teams from 45 countries will demonstrate how they best met the SIFE Judging Criteria.
