Semester Two is Over

SIFE AUT BDP (Business Development Project) students handed in their business plans for the respective projects this week. There was plenty of jubilation in their faces as this was for some, the last assessment for their degree. Less we not forget those that have more of their degree to complete and those completing co-op next semester – Congratulations to you all for completing this year. We wish you all well in your future studies and careers.

NETWORX Third Workshop

NETWORX ran its third workshop last week with Otahuhu College students. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came up with some very cool products and marketing campaigns:

  • Protection padding for Break Dancers
  • Graffiti Underwear
  • Scented permanent hair colour

It is amazing as to the ideas these students come up with when they put their minds to it. Our teaching methods are different to what they are use too. By identifying their interests we adapt our workshops to suit them. We always get results!

Pro-Activ Workshop

Pro-Activ is glad to announce the dates for their workshops. They are holding seminar sessions on Monday 22nd of November, and the interviews are being held on Wednesday 24th of November! We are also exited about our guest speakers Patrick Merrick (Director BridgesOne Recruiting) Andrew Sliper (Momentum Recruiting) and Geoff Martyn (AUT career centre). We are also holding a CV writing workshop in the afternoon on the 22nd.

Pro Activ graduates are going to be some of the most employer friendly and best presented graduates around!
