A Team with the Lion Heart for Change Goes to the Lion City!

SIFE AUT heads to SIFE World Cup 2008 at Singapore in October. Armed with 10 community and business projects, SIFE AUT was victoriously in claiming the SIFE New Zealand trophy, earning them a trip to Singapore to experience the ultimate level of SIFE competitions – Challenging 45 other countries for the SIFE World Cup.
‘Our victory would not have been possible without the constant support of AUT University, our Business Advisory Board, our SIFE mentors, our Alumni and especially, our dedicated SIFE AUT students. Their hardwork and efforts have been realised with our victory. However, their support and confidence would motivate us to progress further, in our hopes to secure the SIFE World Cup at Singapore. We thank you all for your support!’ said Michael Teoh, Vice-President of SIFE AUT.
The SIFE AUT team was praised for having a sleek presentation coupled with strong measurable projects through the execution of their various projects. This is the second year where SIFE AUT has won the SIFE National Competition, repeating the success of last year’s team, who represented the country to New York and was placed as the world’s Top 16 Best SIFE teams.
